These live-in-studio tracks are a good representation of the direction Jack Grelle's music has evolved. Namely, a pleasing, laid-back style of country-folk. Influenced as much by the Ozark hillbilly culture as he is by traditional country performers like Jerry Jeff Walker, Grelle’s style is also reminiscent of folk musicians like Woody Guthrie and Townes Van Zandt. Plus, he has the most awesome facial hair.
